UGC Promotion Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Unihorn UGC Promotion (“Promotion”). By applying to participate in this Promotion, all participants agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Promoter

This Promotion is operated by Unihorn (“Unihorn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participants must be aged 18 or over.

2.2 Participants must currently own at least one genuine Unihorn product.

2.3 Participants must live in a country where this Promotion is legally permitted.

2.4 We reserve the right to refuse participation at our discretion.

3. Promotion Details

3.1 Eligible participants may receive one complimentary Unihorn Mini product in exchange for creating and submitting user generated content (“UGC”).

3.2 To qualify for the Promotion, participants must submit:

  • A minimum of three original photos and/or videos featuring their current Unihorn product(s)
  • At least one photo or video clearly showing the participant’s face alongside their current Unihorn product

3.3 Submitted content must be received within the timeframe communicated by Unihorn.

3.4 Submission of content does not guarantee reposting, publication, future collaborations, or selection for additional campaigns.

4. Content Requirements

4.1 All submitted content must:

  • Be original and created by the participant
  • Be owned fully by the participant
  • Be clear, good quality, and suitable for marketing and promotional use
  • Be considered publishable by Unihorn, including being free from excessive mess, explicit nudity, offensive behaviour, unsafe activity, or inappropriate surroundings
  • Clearly feature the participant’s current Unihorn product(s)
  • Not infringe the rights of any third party
  • Not contain offensive, defamatory, unlawful, discriminatory, or misleading material
  • Not include copyrighted music, logos, branding, or content owned by third parties without permission

4.2 Participants confirm that anyone appearing in submitted content has given permission for their image and likeness to be used by Unihorn for marketing purposes.

4.3 Unihorn reserves the right to reject, refuse, or remove any content that it considers unsuitable, low quality, non-compliant, or inconsistent with the Unihorn brand image.

5. Rights Granted to Unihorn

5.1 By submitting content as part of this Promotion, participants grant Unihorn a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, transferable, sublicensable, and non-exclusive licence to use the submitted content.

5.2 This includes the right for Unihorn to:

  • Repost content
  • Edit or adapt content
  • Crop, resize, or add graphics and captions
  • Use content in paid advertising
  • Use content across websites, social media, email marketing, product pages, marketplace listings, printed materials, and promotional campaigns

5.3 Participants agree that:

  • No additional payment or compensation will be provided beyond the gifted product
  • Unihorn may use the content with or without crediting the participant
  • Content may continue to be used even if the participant removes the original post or deletes their social media account

5.4 Participants waive any moral rights relating to the submitted content to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Product Fulfilment

6.1 The complimentary Unihorn Mini is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products.

6.2 Unihorn reserves the right to substitute the gifted product with another product of equal or greater value if necessary.

6.3 Participants are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

7. Social Media

7.1 This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or any other social media platform.

7.2 Participants release all social media platforms from any responsibility connected with this Promotion.

8. Participant Confirmation

By participating in this Promotion, participants confirm that:

  • They are aged 18 or over
  • They own the rights to the submitted content
  • They have the legal right to grant the permissions outlined in these Terms
  • All information provided is accurate and truthful

9. Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unihorn accepts no responsibility for:

  • Technical issues or failed submissions
  • Lost, delayed, or incomplete content submissions
  • Any indirect or consequential loss connected with participation in the Promotion
  • Third party use or sharing of content once published publicly

9.2 Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Privacy

10.1 Personal information provided during the Promotion will only be used for:

  • Administering the Promotion
  • Shipping products
  • Communicating with participants
  • Marketing and promotional purposes connected to submitted content

10.2 Personal information will be handled in line with Unihorn’s Privacy Policy.

11. Changes and Cancellation

11.1 Unihorn reserves the right to amend, pause, or cancel the Promotion at any time where reasonably necessary.

11.2 Any participant found to be in breach of these Terms may be removed from the Promotion without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in relation to this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
